Two boys from two different worlds. Unfortunately, a nosy police officer is constantly stopping by Max's house, so the boys live in fear that Ahmed will be discovered and deported. Ahmed and his father have escaped from Aleppo, Syria only to be parted when the father drowns off the coast of Greece.
What a wonderful story of friendship and love over fear. The characters were fully developed and the plot kept me guessing. Other Editions 9.
