System I would love would be your pet has a default family special ability out of the 6 major categories and specialization when you tame it, but after taming you could go to the pet trainer and pay to have it learn any of the other basic pet family special abilities that a pet you have tamed has instead of it's default one and to change it's specialization to one of the other 2.

Comment by Grymvild I'm a bit on edge about these pet changes. It was super helpful.

So like, the tank family retains its tankier health pool. I wish Blizz would knock them down to just being another family already, instead of a must-have pet.
Please visit the new World of Warcraft community forums at https: I am confused since this guide says that spirit beasts are good for dungeon and raid content: I want to maximize dps so which pet would you recommend? Ie, is it burst damage which can be timed with a CD or constant damage throughout the dungeon which leech would be able to help mitigate.
In any case, I use ElvUI's nice built-in frames and in groups I will occasionally use my spirit beast to toss out a heal when needed.
