Or, if you don't want to do that, you can, of course, pick the other option to send mail from your primary, default account.
If that didn't work for you, it's on to option 2 where you can forward emails from your old account to the new one.
Click on the blue Create filter button. Retrieving these emails requires switching logins to remove the junk mail label.

Now all new emails sent to your old email address will be automatically forwarded to your new email address. One thing to note is that this doesn't happen with all recipents. When you link all your Gmail accounts you can keep everything together without having to switch back and forth between accounts. Don't forward the mail. Any hints for that?
I have read this post and if I could I want to recommend you a few interesting items or assistance. You can create specific labels for each linked Gmail accounts and then use smart filters to further winnow them out. Minor adjustment: Also, found out to my dismay that MS mail doesn't allow forwarding to a non-MS address: Did no one of you checked out the settings panel before? You would need to disable the forwarding and use a filter instead on the secondary account for this to work.
